IOR

Offers CMCA discount

IOR began in one of the most remote corners of Australia,  Eromanga, Queensland, the town famously known as the furthest from the sea. The company started in 1984 as Inland Oil Refinery, founded by John Bonner and Arthur Nommensen to process locally produced crude from the Cooper Basin and solve a major problem: regional operators simply couldn’t rely on traditional fuel networks to reach them.

From that tiny outback refinery, IOR has grown into a national fuel network with 115+ unmanned diesel stops and 39 aviation sites, supported by its own fleet, import terminals, and in‑house engineering. Their first unmanned 24/7 diesel stop opened in Winton, built specifically for long‑haul transport and that same model now benefits travellers who need reliable, high‑flow diesel in remote regions.

IOR’s network

Designed to help with your fueling needs

* 24/7 unmanned diesel stops — no relying on small‑town servo opening hours.

* Locations in remote corridors used by truckies, farmers, and resource operators — the same roads caravanners often take.

* High‑flow pumps that make filling large tanks quicker and cleaner.

* Consistent fuel quality thanks to their vertically integrated supply chain (refinery → terminals → trucks → diesel stops).
